WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) offered the following statement Tuesday at the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee’s hearing on Joseph V. Cuffari’s nomination to be inspector general of the Department of Homeland Security:
“Dr. Joseph Cuffari has lived a lifetime of public service, including decades of experience in government oversight and investigations,” said Sen. Johnson. “If confirmed, I look forward to working with him to ensure the integrity of the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Inspector General.”
