Subcommittee on Federal Financial Management, Government Information, Federal Services and International Security

The Subcommittee is tasked with overseeing a wide variety of federal activities key to, among other things, protecting taxpayer resources, promoting government transparency, and improving our national security. The Subcommittee’s areas of jurisdiction include overseeing the effectiveness and efficiency of the federal government’s financial management; the management of the federal government’s information technology portfolio; the effectiveness of national security methods, including agencies’ cyber security efforts; the Archives of the United States; the decennial Census and collection of statistics; and the United States Postal Service.
