Safety of Food Imports – Part V

During the September 24th and 25th, 1998 hearings, the Subcommittee focused on legislative, administrative and regulatory remedies for the weaknesses previously identified in the Subcommittee’s safety of food imports investigation. The Subcommittee heard from various Members of Congress, government agencies, as well as industry and interest groups.
