Financial Management at the Department of Defense

In December 2005, the Department of Defense outlined their Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Plan to improve the overall financial management health of the Department. This hearing will provide an opportunity to learn and understand the components of this plan as well as gain an understanding of other plans involved in improving the financial management infrastructure at the Department.
