Subcommittee Investigates Executive Department and Agency Use of Contractors to Respond to Congressional Inquiries

After learning about the Department of Defense’s use of contractors to respond to a Subcommittee request for information, Chairman McCaskill today wrote to executive departments and agencies to ask for information on the use of contractors to provide services relating to the preparation of Congressional testimony or the response to Congressional correspondence.
