Chairman McCaskill sent letters to Defense Secretary Gates and State Department Assistant Secretary David Johnson asking for information and documents relating to the Defense Department’s and State Department’s management of large contracts for counternarcotics assistance in Central and Latin America. Chairman McCaskill also announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on these issues on May 20, 2010.
