Chairman McCaskill Investigates Defense Department Contracts to Study Traumatic Brain Injury

Following reports that the Defense Department’s decision to withhold insurance coverage for cognitive rehabilitation therapy, a proven treatment for traumatic brain injury, is based on a study that experts called “deeply flawed”, Chairman McCaskill today asked for information and documents regarding the Defense Department’s management and oversight of the contractor who performed the study.
