On Monday, March 15, Senator Susan Collins, Ranking Member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, met with retired General Robert Harding, who is President Obama’s nominee to head the Transportation Security Administration. The Homeland Security Committee will holding a hearing on the nomination, and then vote whether to send it to the full Senate for confirmation.
