Agenda:

********

The hearing will examine the merits of S. 2590, legislation introduced by Senators Coburn, Carper, Obama and McCain, to require the disclosure of recipients of all federal funds. The bill would require that OMB create a searchable website providing easy access to all citizens to see who is getting federal money, as well as how much they receive and for what purpose. Witnesses from across the ideological spectrum will discuss the various uses of such a website to the federal government, the public, the media, and any number of watchdog groups.
