WASHINGTON, D.C. – Chairman Rand Paul announced the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will hold a business meeting to consider a request to consider a resolution authorizing an application for a court order compelling testimony under immunity from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s longtime special assistant as part of the Committee’s investigation in the origins of COVID-19 and risky life sciences research. Federal law allows a congressional committee to seek such a court order when two-thirds of its members approve the request.
