Agenda
On July 29, 2010, the Subcommittee on Contracting Oversight held a hearing entitled, “Mismanagement of Contracts at Arlington National Cemetery.” The purpose of the hearing was to examine reports of pervasive mismanagement and potential waste, fraud, and abuse in contracts at Arlington National Cemetery. In particular, the hearing reviewed findings from the U.S. Army Inspector General’s June 2010 reports on the Cemetery, which found “a lack of expertise in contracting processes within the cemetery, coupled with a lack of focused external oversight.” Additional information and materials relating to this hearing are available at http://mccaskill.senate.gov/?p=soco_documents
