WASHINGTON — Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, had this to say following the confirmation by the full Senate of Gen. John Kelly to be secretary of the Department of Homeland Security:
“General Kelly has devoted his life to service, and I’m thankful that the full Senate has recognized that he is the right person to be the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security,” said Johnson. “I look forward to working with General Kelly to enhance our national security and create a more prosperous America.”
