The Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will hold a field hearing at the Phoenix City Council Chambers; 200 West Jefferson Street; Phoenix, Arizona The hearing will focus on how state and local officials are dealing with violence along the U.S.-Mexican border. President Obama is leaving for a trip to the region on Thursday; Secretaries Clinton, Holder and Napolitano have all traveled to the area in recent weeks.
