The purpose of this hearing is to examine the results of a Government Accountability Office (GAO) review of the operational and management challenges that the FPS faces. The GAO’s report, entitled: The Federal Protective Service Faces Several Challenges that Hamper its Ability to Protect Federal Facilities (GAO 08-683), will be released publicly on June 18, 2008.
