Agenda
The purpose of the hearing was to assess current problems with existing federal databases that contain information relating to government contracting and examine ways to improve the accessibility and transparency of these systems. The hearing also provided an opportunity to discuss vision and goals of the Integrated Acquisition Environment, the federal government’s plan to streamline and improve the systems. In addition, the hearing addressed the General Services Administration’s planned award of the Architecture Operations Contract Support (AOCS) contract to develop a new platform for integrating contract-related information.
